AUBURN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting

November 29, 2022

The Board of Directors of the Auburn Community Development Corporation ("ACDC") had its Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. The meeting was held at the Auburn Housing Authority located at 931 Booker Street, Auburn, AL 36832

CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting was called to order at 1:12 pm by Sharon Tolbert, President.

ROLL CALL

Present: Deborah Hand, Rene Waldrop, Marguerite White, Nolan Torbert and Sharon Tolbert

Others Present: Sandra Sanders (Staff)
Absent: Robert Smith
There was a quorum for the purpose of conducting business.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

President Tolbert asked if there were any changes to the Agenda. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Agenda. Director White moved that the Agenda be approved as received. Director Hand seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Agenda approved.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

President Tolbert asked if there were any corrections to the October 25, 2022, Regular Meeting Minutes. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Minutes. Director Waldrop moved that the Minutes be approved. Director Torbert seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Minutes approved.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

TREASURER'S REPORTS

A. CDBG CARES Finance Report
Secretary/Treasurer Torbert reviewed the October 2022 CDBG grant revenue, expenses, and available balance. The Board was provided detailed reports for each grant allocation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Food Pantry Update
Directors were provided with the Food Pantry Update Report. President Tolbert reviewed the report. The October 2022 report reflected 138 visits and 5,175 pounds of food was distributed. Directors were provided a schedule of the Thanksgiving and Christmas onsite Farmers Markets.

NEW BUSINESS

A. Affordable Housing
President Tolbert stated that she has had numerous meetings with organizations and individuals that has expressed interest in assisting the Auburn Housing Authority with its affordable housing initiatives. President Tolbert felt these initiatives should be under the umbrella of ACDC. The Board was receptive to the information presented and will continue to discuss it at subsequent meetings.

B. Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on January 31, 2022.

There was no other business.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, President Tolbert asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Waldrop moved that the meeting be adjourned; Director White seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 1:41 pm.
