AUBURN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting

October 31, 2023

The Board of Directors of the Auburn Community Development Corporation ("ACDC") had its Regular Board meeting on Tuesday October 31, 2023. The meeting was held at the Auburn Housing
Authority located at 931 Booker Street, Auburn, AL 36832

CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm by Sharon Tolbert, President.

ROLL CALL

Directors Present: Marguerite White, Nolan Torbert, Deborah Hand, Robert Smith, and Sharon Tolbert
Directors Absent: Rene Waldrop
Others Present: Sandra Sanders (Staff)

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

President Tolbert asked if there were any changes to the Agenda. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Agenda. Director White moved that the Agenda be approved as received. Director Torbert seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Agenda approved.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

President Tolbert asked if there were any corrections to the September 26, 2023, Regular Meeting Minutes. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Minutes. Director Smith moved that the Minutes be approved. Director White seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Minutes approved.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

TREASURER'S REPORTS

A. CDBG CARES Finance Report
Secretary/Treasurer Torbert reviewed the September 2023 grant revenue, expenses, and available balance. The Board was provided detailed reports for each grant allocation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Food Pantry Update
Directors were provided with a copy of the Food Pantry Update Report. President Tolbert reviewed the report. The September 2023 report reflected 108 visits and 3183 pounds of food was distributed; 18 families benefited from other special programs in September 2023. Staff are working on replenishing inventory.

The Thanksgiving Farmer's Market will be held at the Ridgecrest site on November 14, 2023.

B. Affordable Housing
There was discussion about affordable housing opportunities and funding.

There being no further business, President Tolbert asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Smith moved that the meeting be adjourned; Director White seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 1:37 pm.
