Planted Together (May 2020)
We appreciate the Dream Day Foundation for putting a smile on the faces of some of our seniors in the Porter Community! The project, “Planted Together”, was created to lift the spirits of senior citizens who are planted in their apartments due to the pandemic, COVID 19. They felt like the senior citizens being stuck in the homes would have a high risk of depression. Decorating their porches with flowers/plants would lift their spirits and brighten their days. They were absolutely correct in their thinking. The seniors were so excited about their flower gifts and have taken great pride in keeping the flowers watered daily.
