About RHA Housing

The RHA is managed by the AHA. The RHA has 50 public housing units. The units are subsidized by HUD for low-income families and individuals. Public housing units offer low-income families and individuals the opportunity to rent an affordable apartment that is decent and sanitary. Under this program, the tenant can expect to pay about 30% to 40% of their monthly income towards their rent. As a tenant, you will be responsible for the payment of your power usage; cable (if a tenant chooses to have it) is also paid by the tenant. A utility allowance is calculated for all tenant paid utilities.
