RHA ACOP

The purpose of this (Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy) ACOP is to establish guidelines for the public housing agency (PHA) staff to follow in determining eligibility for admission to and continued occupancy of Public Housing. The basic guidelines for this policy are governed by requirements of The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), with latitude for local policies and procedures. The policies and procedures governing Admissions and Continued Occupancy are outlined in this policy and these requirements are binding upon applicants, residents, and the PHA alike. Notwithstanding the above, changes in applicable federal law or regulations shall supersede provisions in conflict with this policy.
