In Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The Auburn Housing Authority will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1954 until his death in 1968. Since 1986, the birth date of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been observed as a federal holiday by the federal government.
