Invitation to Bid - Sale of Surplus Vehicles & Equipment

The Auburn Housing Authority (AHA) is requesting sealed bids for the sale of a 2000 Ford F150 Truck, a 2003 Ford F150 Truck, and a 2009 Long Chih Trailer. The aforementioned vehicles and equipment have been taken out of AHA service and will be sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. The AHA urges prospective bidders to view the vehicles and/or equipment before submitting a bid.

The above vehicles and equipment will be available for inspection at 931 Booker Street, Auburn, AL 36832. Inspections will be by appointment ONLY, during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. Please call (334) 821-2262, Extension 262, to schedule an appointment.

Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope marked "AHA Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Bid". The envelope should be addressed

Sealed bids must be received by the AHA Central Office prior to 3:00 pm CST on April 5, 2023, and must be submitted on the forms supplied by the AHA. Forms may be acquired by visiting the offices located at Auburn Housing Authority, Lafayette Housing Authority, and Roanoke Housing Authority or may be downloaded from the AHA website at www.auburnhousingauth.org/procurement.

The Auburn Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part and to waive informalities and irregularities, as it may deem to be in the AHA's best interests.
