Join us for a conversation with civil rights activist Dr. Bernard LaFayette, Jr., the confounder of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, a leader of the Nashville lunch counter sit-ins, a Freedom Ridder, an associate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and national coordinator of the Poor People's Campaign. Dr. Lafayette is the author of In Peace and Freedom: My Journey in Selma. Join us to learn about his life and how he worked to influence change in his community.
