Free Health and Wellness Screenings this Friday!
Auburn University students are providing free Health and Wellness Screenings Friday, Feb. 26 from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM at the Moton, Porter, and Ridgecrest housing units. Conducting the screenings are Auburn students in pharmacy, nursing, social work, and nutrition.
The Health and Wellness Screenings will take place at the Moton, Porter, and Ridgecrest housing units located at:
• Moton: 700 Martin Luther King Drive, Auburn, Alabama
• Porter: 415 White Street, Auburn, Alabama
• Ridgecrest: 945 North Donahue, Auburn, Alabama
Who is eligible to come: The screenings are open to anyone in the Auburn/Opelika community that would like to participate in the free health and wellness screening. There is no cost to participate.
Screenings May Include:
•Evaluation of health
•Blood pressure
•Cholesterol
•Blood sugar
•Weight and BMI
May Also Include:
•Medication review
•Nutrition assessment
•Assistance with community resources
COVID Precautions: All students and faculty will be masked, sanitized, and maintain appropriate
social distance when possible.
For attendees, masks will be required, sanitizing materials will be made available.
